&lt;p style="text-align: center;"&gt;As part of my May Empowerment Series I conducted a lecture/discussion at the 2012 Latina Symposium.&amp;nbsp; It was at the end of the day and many were tired and even done after lunch.&amp;nbsp; But the people that were meant to be there and receive my message where there and attentive to the tools I came ready to give them.&amp;nbsp; The workshop, Sabor Unico was simply about the journey toward identifying, owning, nurturing and sharing your authenticity with others.&amp;nbsp; It was simply more than that and we all laughed and some even cried afterwards.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; This is a forum that I would love to see emergence of realness.&amp;nbsp; Many of us Latinas need to put down the attitude and embrace each other for our strengths.&amp;nbsp; I am speaking as a Latina that has learned alot from the business field and continue to learn on a day to day basis.&amp;nbsp; maybe I will be an ambassador for helping this case as it is something that could be the detriment of women in business and something that if they found would be incredibly powerful for them as individuals and collaboratively.&amp;nbsp; It was a wonderful time and I connected with many people I knew and new faces.&amp;nbsp; Untl we all meet again!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I will be doing a workshop at the Latina Symposium called Sabor Unico, how to keep your authenticity/taste.&amp;nbsp;I will also be judging the local Ms. Puerto Rico Pageant.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;I&amp;nbsp;am now&amp;nbsp;sitting on the Board of a new production company called TruMarc Productions that will be involved in some very meaningful projects.&amp;nbsp; The documentary I have been a part of for the last few years, the Sweetest Land by Envision Films is set to be screened late August at YALE with an open panel for discussion.&amp;nbsp; The book Women Warriors is set to be released on 9/11/12, this book is a collection of females law enforcement officers and their stories-my story will be published in this book.&amp;nbsp;See &lt;a href="http://womenwarriors.wordpress.com"&gt;http://womenwarriors.wordpress.com&lt;/a&gt;, my blog is being featured on 5/2/12.&lt;/p&gt;
